This siren with integrated short circuit isolator will emit both acoustic and visual alarm signals.
The sirens can generate the following tones:
The flash option is available for ceiling mount (c) or wall mount (w).
The PHON has constant volume* and " ash intensity** regardless of the actual voltage in the range 18-28V.
Conventional version
The PHON will sound & flash as soon as 24V dc is present. Two +24V inputs are present.
For each input, 1 out of 4 possible tones can be selected.
Adressable version
The PHONa can be used on the bi-directional fire detection loops of the GMC+ or BMC2 panel. Depending on the model, up to 20 PHONa’s can be put on one loop.
Each PHONa has a built-in short circuit isolator.
Which tone for what situation will be activated, is programmed in the GMC+ or BMC2 panel.
The address number is remotely programmed using the LaserBox.
The PHONa can be tested in three ways:
The siren will sound 8 short beeps and the resonance power is measured and remotely send to the config program for evaluation.
Integrity of both the electronics and the connection to the transducer and flash led(s) is continuously checked and reported in case of a fault.
