The Input/Output module is built in in a splashproof housing and has a short-circuit isolator.

The module is connected to an analogue loop between the encoders.
Each module has its own number in the loop, settable via a Laserbox.
The 1 A / 24 V output relay is freely programmable from the control unit. It has normally open and normally closed contacts.
The galvanically-isolated input is activated by applying a voltage of between 5 V and 27 V to the input terminals.
It can also be driven by the internal voltage via the NC or NO contact.
This input will generate an alarm or other indication at the control unit, depending on the programming.
